Microcement

Belgium · 50+ Year Heritage

Seamless mineral surfaces for floors, walls, wet areas, and everything in between — specified as a complete system.

MORTEX is a cement-based mineral finish applied at 1–3 mm thickness over virtually any substrate. No grout lines. No visible joints. Just continuous surface that reads differently in every light — a material with genuine depth and permanence.

BEAL rates MORTEX A+ for indoor air quality — the highest rating under European standards. Over 50 standard colours. Terraforma is the exclusive Canadian distributor.

Claytec

Clay Plaster
Systems

Germany · Natural Mineral

Breathable, naturally regulating wall finishes for healthy, high-performance interiors. Zero VOC. Fully reversible.

Clay plasters are among the oldest wall finishes in the world — and still unmatched for healthy, breathable interiors. Claytec's formulations bring German engineering precision to a material that actively regulates humidity, absorbs odours, and creates spaces with a warmth you can feel.

Vapour-open and completely natural, clay plasters are compatible with Passive House construction and any project where indoor air quality matters. They don't off-gas, emit nothing, and can be removed cleanly — a responsible choice for serious projects.

Bedrooms & Living Walls

Natural humidity regulation keeps interior climate stable year-round — especially relevant in BC.

Heritage Renovation

Fully reversible and breathable — bonds to most existing substrates without trapping moisture.

Passive House

Zero-VOC and vapour-open. Specify with confidence on any high-performance or healthy building project.

Claylime

Claylime
Wall Systems

Natural Lime & Clay

Natural lime and clay wall systems for breathable, healthy interiors — designed to work alongside MORTEX for a complete interior envelope.

Claylime combines the strength of natural hydraulic lime with the warmth and humidity-regulating properties of clay. The result is a wall system that breathes with the building, actively balances interior humidity, and creates surfaces with a depth and warmth that synthetic finishes simply don't have.

Zero-VOC, vapour-open, and fully natural. Works in both new builds and renovation projects. Pairs seamlessly with Claytec and MORTEX for a complete, consistent interior finish language.

Interior Wall Systems

Rooms that breathe. The lime-clay combination creates natural humidity balance year-round without mechanical systems.

Heritage & Renovation

Compatible with older substrates. Vapour-open so moisture can escape — critical in renovation work where trapping moisture causes damage.

Combined Interior Envelope

Specify alongside MORTEX for wet areas and Claytec for living spaces. One coherent material language throughout a project.

System 04

Resin Rock

Wet Room
Systems

Resin Composite · Custom

Resin composite shower trays and wet room formers that complete the MORTEX specification. One continuous surface from floor to wall to tray.

A MORTEX wet room without a matching shower tray is an incomplete specification. Resin Rock resolves that — composite formers that accept MORTEX directly on their surface, maintaining finish continuity from every angle.

Available in custom sizes for any wet room format. Pre-sloped for drainage with no site-cut required. Significantly lighter than tile or stone alternatives, with far less disruption on renovation work.

Walk-in Wet Rooms

Floor-level entry with no visible threshold. Pre-sloped former eliminates site work and slope errors.

Custom Shower Enclosures

Specified to exact project dimensions. Linear or centre drain to suit any architectural layout.

Renovation

Lightweight over existing subfloor. Less weight, less disruption, faster installation than tile or stone.
